Making our device setup more modular is essential for our international expansion plans after getting acquired by ASSAABLOY. This flow will be part of both the August app and Yale Access app. Protecting users from incoming list of hundreds of devices.

Installation Guide / Calibration

Installing and calibrating device flows saw dramatic improvements and praises from both the press and customer feedback. Collaborated with Jeff H. Case Study available upon request.

Apple Watch App and Complication

Faster and easier way to control your lock without unlocking your phone. Collaborated with engineering to make it easier for users to enter their house without unlocking their phone and opening the app.

App Icons

Designed the app icons, for both August and Yale Access. Applies to both iOS, Apple Watch, and Android. App Store / Google Play Store app screenshots as well.

App Iconography

Icons are effective to add attention and visual interest. Developed to be included in the design system for the design team and engineering team.

In App Device Renders

These renders are created from scratch in Sketch for coherent color grading and cost reduction. Marketing renders usually come towards the end of a hardware cycle, and the app needed these assets early in the development such as in the device setup flow. This project was accomplished under a quick turnaround for each product launch.
